Spread HydraPeat over the area to a depth of 1-3”

Integrate into the top layer of soil using a sharptooth landscape rake

Add fertilizer and pH adjustments as needed

Smooth the surface, spread seed or sod, roll to ensure solid soil contact, and water

Remove existing turf or plant material

Add 2-3” of HydraPeat into the top layer of existing soil

Incorporate HydraPeat into existing soil with a rake or garden hoe

Work into soil thoroughly without disturbing existing plants

Dig a hole 2-3 times the width & slightly shallower than the depth of the root ball

Position plant in the hole so the top of the root ball is slightly above ground (1-2”)

Mix excavated soil with 1 part HydraPeat to 2 parts soil

Backfill about half the depth of the hole with this mixture, water thoroughly to settle

Fill hole with the remaining mixture, adding more HydraPeat if needed and water thoroughly again
